Two Tickets to Paradise

Brooke and I returned last night from a week in the Dominican Republic. We did surprisingly little over seven days. Read a couple of books. That’s about it really. It was the fist time in years I didn’t have a phone in my pocket and only ever had a loose concept of time. Enlightening.

I’ve never considered myself to be much of a resort guy, but we were exhausted after all that wedding planning. So, sitting under an umbrella with a Presidente in one hand and a book in the other was about as close to perfection as we were going to get.
