I’ve talked to some wedding photographers who find it stressful to attend weddings as guests. It feels like they’re in the office. I love it, however. When I’m working I don’t eat hors devours or drink anything other than water. So I feel like a kid in a candy store when I’m unleashed on cocktail hour in a setting I usually associate with having responsibilities. I was recently a guest at our dear friends Chelsea and Yoon‘s wedding. They are such wonderful people and very important to Brooke and I. This made my role of guest that much more enjoyable. I went camera-less for most of the day. Although I couldn’t help snap a few when hanging out with Yoon while he got ready. And neither could the other 4 photographer/friends in the room.
