Joanna and Eric got married at the Liberty Hotel. They surrounded themselves with lots of friends and family (including their dog Buster) and celebrated in a spot that showcased the beauty of their city. Joanna and Eric are two of the nicest people I’ve had the pleasure of working with this year, and I couldn’t be happier for them. Congratulations, guys!

I love when couples get ready together. There’s always really sweet moments, and it’s helpful for practicing your first dance. Lizzie and Paul’s Boston Public Library wedding was beautiful. The perfect weather added to the stunning library setting. Their friends and family were a joy to be around, and I was honored to be present. Congratulations, Lizzie and Paul!

Rachel and Jamil got married at one of my favorite venues. Before their Mount Hope Farm ceremony we went exploring over the beach rocks. I loved that Rachel didn’t seem to care much about her high heels. The whole day had that care-free feeling. Rachel and Jamil had the people closest to them nearby, and that’s all that seemed to matter. Congratulations, guys.

You might remember Katie and Travis from their engagement session last year. That’s where I got to know them better and start to really look forward to their wedding at Sky Meadow Country Club in Nashua. I loved the energy of this wedding and took way too many photos of the dance floor. Congratulations, Katie and Travis! So happy for you guys.

Chelsie and Justin got married in a Beverly backyard. It rained that morning, but the skies cleared, and instead of thinking about the weather, people focused on Chelsie and Justin and their infectious energy and clear love for one another. I often wish I was a guest at fun weddings I photograph, but there was such a wealth of great moments that I felt especially happy to be chief historian on this one. Congratulations, Chelsie and Justin!

Wedding days go by fast (have you heard that yet?), and the bigger the event the harder it can feel like you’re keeping up with everything going on. For two self-proclaimed introverts I was really impressed with how present Caryn and Patrick seemed to be on their wedding day. You can get pulled in lots of different directions when so much is going on, but I felt like Caryn and Patrick spent a lot of it together . . .  and on the dance floor. That can sometimes be easier said than done. Regardless, I certainly had a good time. I’ve shot a few weddings at the Boston Public Library but not quite on this scale. What a beautiful day. Congratulations, Caryn and Patrick.

Shea and Patrick got married at Gibbett Hill in Groton. The rain drowned out everyone else’s Fourth of July plans, but I couldn’t tell if Shea or Patrick actually cared about the weather. They were just anxious to see each other and celebrate with all their friends and family. This wedding supported my theory that inhospitable weather outside makes people settle in and party that much harder inside. Great wedding. Great people. Congratulations, Shea and Patrick.

Some of Kristina and Ethan’s wedding pictures look like their engagement pictures. Tufts University played a big role in both, and it’s kind of cool to see two different times in the same place. Kristina and Ethan’s playfulness was particularly present on their wedding day. The Legos, the champaign in a can, post-ceremony Starbucks trips, and updating social media profiles in the limo made the wedding day a lot of fun. Congratulations, guys!

Tracy and Dominick got married in the future. They used Uber for transportation to the ceremony and toward the end of the reception at Met Back Bay they crossed the street to get scanned in a 3D Photo Booth. Dominick is a talented photographer, and there were a handful of photographer guests, so I tried not to second guess all my movements. I’m really happy for these two, and I’m so glad to have been a part of their wedding. Congratulations, guys!
