But, what I didn’t count on was how funny and charming they, and all their family and friends, would be. It’s easy to forget what articulate means until you spend a day around people who are experts in the craft of storytelling.

And it was great to be back at the Seaport Hotel and World Trade Center. I see a lot of hotels and other wedding venues in my line of work, but I rarely see one run so well. It’s always a pleasure to spend time there, on or off the clock. However, take that with a grain of salt. I’m biased.

Before that, I had the privilege of hanging out with Christina at her parent’s home in Billerica. I love when someone gets ready for their wedding in the same rooms they ran through as a child.

There was a little bit of rain on Saturday, and there was a little bit of humidity; neither of which muted the celebration. And it put a smile on my face to see Christina’s camera sitting alone next to her and Bill’s empty dinner plates. It’s tough for photographers to leave behind one of the most effective tools in recording the past on one of the most important days of their lives.
