Eating and drinking is usually the only thing on my travel itineraries, but this time my hosts sweetened the reunion with a Boulevard Brewery tour (Melissa worked her magic to by-pass the 4-month waiting list), a trip to the newfangled Power and Light district, and a night of bar-b-que. Oklahoma Joe’s not only had the best bar-b-que I’ve ever ordered from a gas station, but it had some of the best bar-b-que I’ve ever had. Thanks, Adam and Melissa, for taking care of your old friend.
