Susan and Andy got married at the The Sea View in Dennisport. It’s the same area that we spent time in for their engagement session. But instead of thick fog, we had a beautiful, sunny day. I love traveling to the Cape in the late summer and fall, and it was awesome to be a part of Susan and Andy’s wedding. They have a great group of friends that made the dance floor a lot of fun. Congratulations, Andy and Susan!
Whitney lives in North Dakota, and Martyn lives in England. Boston is sort of in the middle, so they rented a condo for the week and vacationed in the city together. Since they don’t always plan to live on different continents, the two are also exploring cities they might like to live in together once married. Boston is a possibility. As their (very) unofficial tour guide, I hope I helped give Boston a fighting chance. Thanks for letting me show you around, Whitney and Martyn. And thank you for helping me see my city with fresh eyes.
You might remember Ari and Ben from their engagement session at Walden Pond last fall. The weather was a little warmer for their beautiful Bradley Estate wedding in Canton. In fact, it was the perfect late-summer day. Ari is a designer and did a great job with the details. Congratulations, Ari and Ben! Thanks so much for including me.
I met up with Elizabeth and Joe in Somerville to explore the neighborhood with them. We started at the Highland Kitchen to loosen up before heading down to Davis Square where we wandered around for a bit. It was great getting to know Elizabeth and Joe better, and I can’t wait for their winter wedding at the Massachusetts Horticultural Society.

[…] think of a better way to close out the year. I really enjoyed getting to know the two during their engagement session this summer and felt lucky to be a part of their winter wedding at the Massachusetts Horticultural […]Everybody hopes that their wedding goes as planned. But, sometimes the universe has bigger and better plans. Meg and Brian’s wedding at Pats Peak was already made special by the beautiful background and the fact that it is a place that means a lot to the two of them. However, when the power went out and the fire alarm came on just before the cake cutting, what seemed like a disruption actually turned into one of the coolest wedding receptions I’ve been a part of. Meg and Brian cut the cake outside and some people sang songs before the the DJ set up a guest’s car to amplify the music for the parent dances on the deck. It was magical. Thank goodness for disrupted plans.

[…] Did you know that if you bury a bottle of bourbon at your wedding venue it guarantees perfect weather? This southern tradition worked for Elizabeth and Jim at OceanCliff in Newport. Or maybe the universe was just rewarding them for being so darn nice. Regardless, I feel lucky to know these two and wish them the best. Congratulations, guys! And great to run into Meg (Jim’s sister) and Brian. Can’t believe it’s been almost five years since the wedding! […]I met up with Veronica and J.P. at the Robert Treat Paine Estate in Waltham for their engagement shoot. We walked around the property a little before heading over to Bentley University where Veronica and J.P. met while in school. It’s great photographing in places with meaning to a couple. A lot had changed since they went to school there. In fact, we think the average student age dropped dramatically. Or maybe we’re just getting older. Can’t tell. Anyways, I’m looking forward to their wedding in Cambridge in a few weeks!

[…] looking forward to Veronica and J.P.’s wedding ever since getting to know them during their engagement session. I was glad to see them blessed with a beautiful fall day for their ceremony and reception at the […]Jee-Young and Greg had a beautiful Boston wedding at The Arlington Street Church and the Taj Hotel. The roof deck reception had some spectacular views, and it was neat to see how the light and skyline changed through out the evening. It was the perfect setting for all of Jee-Young and Greg’s family and friends to celebrate with them. I was lucky to be a part of it.
I got to meet my new nephew this week. Now I got three. This one doesn’t do much right now, but he’s adorable all the same.
Laura and Adam weren’t interested too much in the details of their wedding. They chose a beautiful spot, invited their closest friends and family, ate good food, danced and let the evening move forward naturally and uninterrupted. The rain moved the ceremony inside at the Ocean View Inn, but this just emphasized the intimacy and beauty of the event that much more. Congratulations, Laura and Adam!
