You might recognize Allyson and Mike from their engagement session a couple of weeks ago. It was good to see them again at the Nonatum Resort in Kennebunkport. The location was beautiful and Allyson and Mike’s friends and family were great to be around, especially when the dancing started. I kept waiting for people to get tired, but the dance floor was consistently packed. This one was a lot of fun. Congratulations, Allyson and Mike!
I lived in Vermont for a brief stint, and I always love going back there. Rebecca and Mel just moved from California to Vermont this summer, just in time for their wedding. I got a chance to meet them earlier this summer for a drink and knew immediately I was going to have a great time documenting their wedding day. The Cooper Hill Inn, where both the ceremony and reception were, has an amazing view of the mountains. It was the perfect back drop for a really fun wedding. Congratulations, Rebecca and Mel!

[…] A mountain view inn in Vermont, a beautiful couple, and a perfect day hardly seems a photographic challenge, but what inspires us so much about this wedding is the way the Channing was able to see past the scenery and get to the heart of the couple. Their love and the happiness of the event is evident in every frame. Check it out here:September 6, 2010 – 10:40 pm

This picture makes me so happy. I look at it about three times a day. It’s never too late for an engagement session. Allyson and Mike are getting married this Saturday, but we got together last week to wander around their neighborhood in Newton (starting in Mike’s grandfather’s vegetable garden) and then finished up along the Charles as the light went down. You’ll see these guys on the blog again soon. I have a feeling their wedding in Maine is going to be a lot of fun.

The […]Cait and Darren live in China, but they came back home to get married at Turner Hill in Ipswich. It was an absolutely beautiful day in a gorgeous location. While getting ready Cait kept saying that other than the ceremony, she just wanted to get to the dancing. After all the wedding planning and after all the day-of-preparations, it made me really happy to see her dancing. Thanks for including me, Cait and Darren. Congratulations!

These photos really captured how beautiful the night truly was! Congrats to the Longs!I clearly don’t get to Charlestown enough. Jee-Young and Greg’s engagement session was actually the first time I saw Bunker Hill. Embarrassing, I know. But it was great to get a little mini-tour of Jee-Young and Greg’s great neighborhood before we wandered around Cambridge as the sun went down. We walked a little through Kendall where they both work and then spent some time on their running route along the Charles. After getting to know them during the engagement session, I’m really looking forward even more to their wedding later this month.

[…] Jee-Young and Greg had a beautiful Boston wedding at The Arlington Street Church and the Taj Hotel. The roof deck reception had some spectacular views, and it was neat to see how the light and skyline changed through out the evening. It was the perfect setting for all of Jee-Young and Greg’s family and friends to celebrate with them. I was really glad to be apart of it. […]August 14, 2010 – 9:26 pm
dude, i’m so happy that you’re shooting jee-young’s wedding. these are really beautiful.Melissa and Jason were married at the Roger Williams Park and Casino in Providence. At the reception they were introduced to the The Office theme song, and I saw one of the most creative wedding cakes I’ve ever seen. Melissa and Jason did such a great job of putting their personalities into their wedding. Both are a lot of fun and laid back, and their wedding was exactly that. Thanks for including me, Melissa and Jason!

Lovely photos, as usual. ALSO: I went to a wedding at this venue this past Saturday! It’s so beautiful!I’m photographing Danielle and Mike’s wedding in Vermont next year, and it was great to get to know them better during their engagement shoot on the North Shore. We started with dinner at Woodman’s (I have trouble turning down lobster rolls) before Danielle hopped on the back of Mike’s motorcycle and they headed over to Wingaersheek Beach in Gloucester. Not being native to the Northeast I’ve only seen a handful of Massachusetts beaches and coastlines, but Wingaersheek was one of the most beautiful and dynamic beaches I’ve ever seen. I look forward to going back and getting more than my feet wet. And I’m also looking forward to Danielle and Mike’s Vermont wedding next year even more than I was before. Thanks for a great evening, guys!

Next year for sure, Brooke!August 3, 2010 – 9:50 am
I can’t believe I missed LB at the beach! So adorable! NC I miss you!I had the pleasure of hanging out with Juliana and Patrick a few times before their wedding. So, when the big day rolled around I already felt like part of the crew. Juliana and Patrick had their reception at the beautiful Saltwater Farm Vineyard in Stonington, CT. It was a wonderful evening that included a Thanksgiving-inspired family-style dinner, an amazing a cappella version of Dave Matthew’s Two Step, and a big table of home-made sweets. Great people, great wedding. Thanks for including me, guys!
