Karen and Ian

I had a great time walking around the Seaport District with Karen and Ian. It’s one of my favorite parts of town, too (Brooke and I got married there!). As much fun as it was to try a bunch of different pictures, the real pleasure was in getting to know them even better. I can’t wait for their wedding later this month!

Nikki - Seaport is an awesome area, and all the pictues came out fantastic. My favorite would be the fist one with the couple showing up so sharp in the photo and the flags in the background!July 2, 2011 – 12:30 pm

Phyllis - I especially like the “polka dot” staircase picture.July 1, 2011 – 7:26 pm

Alicia and Mike

Alicia and Mike had a beautiful ceremony along Rowes Wharf before boarding the Odyssey for an evening on the Boston Harbor. I was e-mailing with Alicia after the wedding and she referred to the exuberant reception as a “floating clown show”. I don’t know exactly what to call it, but it was definitely one of the best I’ve ever been apart of. Congratulations, Alicia and Mike!

Scot - You’ve got the vision. Incredible craft at revealing the mood and atmosphere and documenting the day. Great images. Esp. love the little girl in the stroller and many of the boat shots.June 30, 2011 – 6:44 pm

Declan

More than a year has passed since I spent some time with Sarah Lyn, Peter and their adorable son Declan. Declan is now walking and talking and displaying an already keen sense of humor. We spent some time at the house following Declan’s lead and doing our best to keep up. One of the most satisfying parts of my job that I didn’t anticipate when I started is getting to know a family over time. It’s fascinating to see all the changes and take comfort in the things that stay the same. Especially when one of the things that hasn’t changed is how welcoming and warm they are to be around.

Emily - Absolutely beautiful! Channing, you’re ability to capture these moments is amazing.June 21, 2011 – 2:09 pm

Elizabeth and Patrick

I last saw Elizabeth and Patrick for their engagement session on one of the coldest days of the winter. Record snow fall was the last thing on people’s mind on one of the nicest days of the summer. The ceremony was at St. Ignatius Church and the beautiful reception was at the Boston College Club downtown. The many guests traveling from out of town were treated with a unique Boston experience. It was a stunning backdrop for a really fun wedding. Congratulations, Elizabeth and Patrick!

Shaina and Brian

Shaina and Brian’s wedding was a lot of fun. I started the day with Brian and his groomsmen who I found relaxing with some intense rounds of Rock Band. They offered me the microphone to take lead vocals, but I didn’t want to take center stage and wow everyone with my amazing range and perfect pitch on Brian’s big day. I then met up with Shaina and the bridesmaids as they got ready at the Cambridge Multicultural Arts Center and put the last of the unique touches on the wedding day. As guests arrived, freshly popped popcorn was served in bags with the ceremony program printed on them. Later on, instead of a first dance, Shaina and Brian surprised their guests when they sang a song backed up by the band. The whole day was really beautiful.

Joyelle - That first chair shot is just classic CJP.June 9, 2011 – 10:26 am

Ang - Channing, that photo of the friends singing/dancing with the band is amazing and looks like so much fun. What rockstars! By the way, whenever I even hear a whisper of someone getting married, I email them your site. We were one lucky couple to have you photograph ours.June 4, 2011 – 10:18 pm

The Graduate

Brooke is a master. Not of the universe, but of higher education. I’m very proud of her. She somehow managed to complete the degree while working full-time and with only one Mariah-Carey-breakdown in 3 years. I have no idea how she did it.

Disclosure: Brooke didn’t walk at BC’s gradation. We slept in and went for a nice lunch instead, something that grad school has limited in our lives. I took this picture the morning Brooke left to assist Northeastern’s graduation. But history won’t know the difference. You make me proud, darlin’.

addiejean - I recognize that “mold colored” house! Congrats Brooke!June 7, 2011 – 9:06 pm

Phyllis - Congrats, Brooke! Remind me to tell you my graduate school melt down story when I see you. Everyone has one.June 2, 2011 – 4:53 pm

Myndi - Yay! I’m still in awe that you did all of this while working FULL-TIME. So impressive and so excited for you! xo!June 2, 2011 – 2:46 pm

Mark - Well done Brooke! Can’t wait to hear about your one “Myriah-Carey-breakdown!”June 2, 2011 – 1:51 pm
