Amy and Justin

Amy and Justin got married at the Codman Estate in Lincoln. But first, Amy and her good friend Donna relaxed on Newbury Street. Justin and his groomsmen got ready at the Westin in Waltham. And they joined in the Italian garden behind the Codman Estate for their ceremony. Amy and Justin are really laid-back and so was there wedding. It was just a fun wedding on a beautiful fall day. Congratulations, Amy and Justin!

Lisa - I *love* these, Channing! I’m a frequent visitor to Codman, but I’ve never shot a wedding there. Usually it’s just the cows. You’ve done such an amazing job with the light in these images, just perfection. And what a gorgeous couple! I’m sure they’re thrilled with their photos.October 27, 2010 – 2:17 pm

Kerry and James

Kerry and James live in London, so I wasn’t able to meet them before their wedding at the Wequassett Resort and Golf Club. It was such a pleasure to learn how sweet and generous they both are. Their friends and family were as equally charming. And I learned about the art of the English best man toast. I’ve seen a lot of toasts in my day, and this could have been the best. Congratulations, Kerry and James. Thank you so much for including me in your transatlantic wedding celebration!

Nikki - So many great photos and interesting shots I never would have thought of–>the one of the shoes and the little kid sleeping are my two favoites. Great work and looked like a beautiful wedding celebration!October 12, 2010 – 9:51 pm

mike a - nailed it my brotherOctober 8, 2010 – 11:26 pm

Mike E - Fantastic, Channing. Some of your best work here…you captured their personality nicely, and the use of color and lighting on many of these shots is spectacular (esp. the cake, tree, toast, dancing). They should be thrilled to have these as a record of their day.October 8, 2010 – 2:47 pm

Alison and Paul

Alison and Paul’s wedding was much warmer than their engagement session. In fact, it was a perfect late-summer day on the Cape. And they threw a wonderful party with delicious food, good friends, and great music. The always-awesome Good Time Stringband took care of the ceremony and cocktail hour while the funk band The Pimps of Joytime created some of the best reception music I’ve ever heard. It’s was really a beautiful night. Congratulations, Alison and Paul!

Josh Behan - wow. perfect coverage man, I really love the bride and groom through the tent.October 7, 2010 – 12:12 am

Katy and Tommy

I had a lot of fun getting to know Katy and Tommy during their engagement session and knew that I would have a great time with them on their wedding day. It was good to find out their friends and family are as equally charming and welcoming. Katy and Tommy got ready at the Mandarin Oriential before heading over to the Tower Hill Botanical Garden in Boylston. The spaces in the garden and greenhouse are absolutely beautiful and created a dynamic backdrop for their intimate celebration. Congratulations, Katy and Tommy!

mike a - very very nice channing, as usualOctober 2, 2010 – 11:13 am

Anna

I went up to Portsmouth recently to spend an afternoon with Brenna, Steve, and their beautiful daughter, Anna. We hung out around the house for a while before heading to the beach as the sun was going down. Steve recently made his own surfboard, and I was really excited about including it in some of the photos. I had a lot of fun that afternoon, and after awhile I wasn’t even nervous knowing that Brenna specializes in beautiful family photography. She also has a hilarious blog about family life that you should go to immediately.

Kate and Joe

I met up with Kate and Joe in Providence for their engagement shoot. We were doing the normal wandering around the neighborhood and downtown areas when we stopped to look at the taxidermy inside the Edna Lawrence Nature Lab windows. Someone walking by noticed our curiosity and asked us if we wanted to be let into the building. Why, yes. Yes we would. I can’t wait for Kate and Joe’s Vermont wedding next month.
