Joanna and David

With readings from friends and thoughts spoken by parents, Joanna and David’s ceremony in the Boston Public Library courtyard is one of the most personal ceremonies I can remember witnessing. The whole wedding day was a lot of fun, and I’m so happy I was a part of it. Congratulations, guys!

Josh Behan - Wow, amazing coverage.November 6, 2012 – 1:04 am

David and Joanna - Thank you, Channing! We were pretty happy when our power came back on after the storm, but we were overjoyed when we saw these photos. We can’t imagine a better way to remember the day, and we feel so lucky that you were there!November 4, 2012 – 9:38 am

Sammy

Remember Sammy? Well, he’s grown up a little since the last time I hung out with the family. I rode with Derek and Emily to pick up Sammy at school and then went back home with them to get dressed for Halloween. Everyone had a gread time. Except for maybe Baxter. But someone had to be Yoda.

Emily - Channing-you’re the best. You really are. Such a talent. Thank you!November 1, 2012 – 2:16 pm

Joyelle - Too funny – this just made my day!!November 1, 2012 – 1:48 pm

Andrea and Dan

Andrea and Dan were married at the Bigalow Chapel at Mt. Auburn Cemetery before heading over to the Charles Hotel for a fun reception. These two were among the nicest couples I’ve had the pleasure of working with this year, and it was an absolute honor to be there with them on such an important day. Congratulations, Andrea and Dan!

Mara and Adam

Mara and Adam moved into a new condo this year. But they didn’t need a moving truck because the trip from the old place to the new place was so close. Just across the street, in fact. They obviously love the neighborhood so we simply walked around their little patch of Cambridge getting pictures of this special time in their lives in the this special place. Can’t wait for the wedding next year!

Kate - The one with the cat!!!! Oh!!! I love it!!!! Awesome set, Channing. :)October 29, 2012 – 5:36 pm

Kristin and Elliott

Kristin and Elliott were married in Newport, R.I. at Our Lady of Mercy before heading over to Belle Mer for a beautiful reception along the water. This was my second week in a row shooting in Newport. I love working here, and I loved working with these two. Congratulations, Kristin and Elliott!

Nikki - What a beautiful beautiful beautiful bride–>the wedding looks like it was a great time!October 25, 2012 – 9:52 pm

Michelle and JR

Michelle and JR (and Whiskey!) met me in my own neck of the woods for their engagement session. Their first date was at Mexico Lindo in Melrose so we did a quick photo in front of the mural before heading up to Gloucester where their wedding will be next year. Michelle found the Gloucester Maritime Heritage Center which was a perfect spot to wander around. It was great to get to know these two better, and I can’t wait for the wedding.

Maura and Bobby

Maura and Bobby live in NYC but decided to have a small wedding in Newport. They had a touching ceremony at Kay Chapel before their families headed over to Castle Hill for an elegant dinner. It was an honor to be a part of such an intimate and beautiful day. Congratulations, Maura and Bobby!

Sarah - the bride’s veil is so lovely….(maybe it’s a girl thing, this veil lust?) Love the shot at the chapel doors. reminded me a bit of the feeling in the photo of JFK Jr. and Carolyn Bessette.

Timeless. :)October 16, 2012 – 8:27 pm

Natalie and Steve

I love music, but I rely on other people to tell me what to listen to. Natalie and Steve’s wedding is in the top three for best playlists (I made them send it to me afterwards). It all started when they walked back down the aisle to In the Aeroplane Over the Sea (I included another favorite from their reception in the slideshow below). In addition to the music they set a beautiful scene for their guests simply by choosing to have it at Sunny Slope Farm in New Hampshire. Can’t tell you how much I enjoyed being on the farm with these guys. Congratulations, Natalie and Steve!

Nikki - Looks like a fun fun wedding, you got some great shots, the IPad one is so great!October 8, 2012 – 6:31 pm

Myndi - This is ridiculous. Crazy good. Crazy. Great song choice for the slideshow too, one of my favorites.October 5, 2012 – 10:06 pm

Jeanne Lee - These photos are so beautiful, could not have gotten such a wonderful series of this event from anyone else. This is quite the story of their day!!!!!October 2, 2012 – 6:07 pm

Patty Bergeson - Omg the pictures are sensational!October 2, 2012 – 4:50 pm

Natalie Marinilli - I am lost for words. Thank you, Channing. You were the best wedding decision we ever made.October 1, 2012 – 9:36 pm

Farewell to Summer

What a great summer. We’re moving into one of my favorite times of the year (especially in New England), but before I completely let summer go I just wanted to remember how nice it was to complain about the heat and Cape traffic. And just as I start complaining about the cold (or long after, really), I’ll be welcoming next summer and hoping it will be as good as the previous one.

Joyelle - Lovely!October 1, 2012 – 4:44 pm

Andrea and A.J.

It was almost a year ago I met up with Andrea and AJ in New York City. After an evening with them wandering around their adopted city I was especially looking forward to their wedding at the Museum of Science. They both got ready in Chelsmford before their ceremony at St. Vartanantz Armenian Church. When dancing started on the bus ride to Boston I knew the reception was going to be a good time. I wasn’t disappointed. It was also great to see the familiar faces of my talented colleagues at Petalena Flowers and Jeff Brouillet Films. Congratulations, Andrea and AJ! Thanks so much for inviting me to be a part of your beautiful wedding.

Nikki - Hard for me to pick a favorite when you post all these awesome photos–love the childhood photo next to the garment bag and the overhead shot of the couple dancing. Congrats!September 30, 2012 – 4:41 pm
