Allison and Brett

Allison and Brett were married along the water at the Boston Harbor Hotel. I wasn’t able to meet them in person before the wedding, but I quickly felt very comfortable with Allison and Brett and all their favorite people. This was a fun one, and I’m so glad I was a part of it. Congratulations, Allison and Brett!

Allison - AMAZING!!!!! You’re the best!September 25, 2012 – 4:58 pm

Lobster

Melissa and Mike had a fun wedding earlier this summer despite the fact it was raining sideways for much of the day. Since our portrait options were somewhat limited on the day of, Melissa and Mike had the idea to get back in their wedding clothes and take some pictures that included sunshine. They invited Brooke and I up to Wells, Maine to go out on Melissa’s dad’s boat to model a little and then pull lobster traps. I love the ocean, and I love eating things that live in the ocean. So, the opportunity to dine on lobster a couple of hours after catching it was a bit of a dream come true. Thank you to Charlie and Susie for taking us all out for such a fun experience.

Jaime and Jarrod

Jaime and Jarrod have great taste in wedding venues. I got married at the Exchange Conference Center, but I had never photographed there until Jaime and Jarrod’s wedding. After their ceremony at Dormition of Virgin Mary everybody headed down to the Seaport District for a beautiful night on the water. Even Jaime and Jarrod’s dog Buddy made it to cocktail hour. This was a really fun day, and I’m so glad I was a part of it. Congratulations, guys!

Nikki - Channing–you really do have a knack for this and making sure to capture all the moments big and small! Enjoyed looking at these photos!September 20, 2012 – 9:40 am

Carin and Billy

Carin and Billy were married on a cranberry bog in Harwich, Mass. I don’t really know what else to say. All the people and ideas that came together for this celebration are shared more effectively in this collection of moments. Or so I hope. Congratulations, Carin and Billy. Thank you so much for inviting me.

Kathryn and Chris

Kathryn and Chris were married at St. Cecelia’s Parish before heading back to the Seaport Hotel for their reception. Kathryn is a ballroom dancer, and I loved how she and Chris choreographed something for their reception entrance. Chris is not a ballroom dancer, but you wouldn’t have known it. It was a beautiful day all around. Thanks for including me, Kathryn and Chris!

Kristen and Brian

Kristen and Brian were married at St. Clare’s Parish in Braintree before everyone headed over to Granite Links Golf Club for a beautiful reception in front of the Boston skyline. There was no shortage of enthusiasm for the dance floor. I did my best to get in close without catching a flailing arm with my face. Luckily I didn’t get hurt as I photographed hilarious dance moves I couldn’t even begin to describe. This was a fun one. Congratulations, Kristen and Brian!

Sarah - the way you capture different emotions from each generation always gets me. Always.September 9, 2012 – 6:52 pm

Brenna - That settles it. I’m having another wedding and hiring you. Let me see if Steve’s on board.September 6, 2012 – 3:50 pm

Elise and Matt

Remember that one time I went to Amsterdam to shoot a wedding? Well, Elise and Matt (who now live and work in D.C.) were in Boston earlier this summer for work. It was great to catch up with them during a quick MIT maternity session. For the record: Elise had to talk Matt and I into that jumping shot. But nobody got hurt and we got the most bizarre maternity picture I’ve ever taken. That’s a win-win.

Chelsea and Yoon

It’s easy to go along time without seeing good friends who live real close. But summertime in New England is short. We only have so much time to hang out before we all scurry back into hibernation. Chelsea and Yoon are two of our oldest friends of the Channing-and-Brooke-both-live-in-Boston era. It’s always good to see them, and we hope to squeeze in a few more outdoor cooking sessions before it gets cold around here.

Meghan and Steve

Meghan and Steve were married at St. Monica’s in Methuen before heading north to the Renaissance Golf Club and Resort for a vibrant reception. My wife grew up with Meghan’s family so it was great to see old friends as well as make some new ones. I desperately wanted to join the party. But they didn’t need any additional demands on the bar. There was a momentary Kettle One crisis until a resourceful bartender scavenged for more. Wonderful party. Awesome couple. Congratulations, Meghan and Steve!

Shaun Ward - Hi Channing

I came across your blog via Katie Barnes and just wanted to say what fantastic images.
I have spent the last half an hour engrossed so you can now consider me a fan.

Brenna - A Ketel One crisis could have closed the place down. That’s serious business.August 16, 2012 – 2:08 pm
