I can’t believe it’s been more than a year since I met up with Danielle and Mike in Gloucester for their engagement session. Instead of the beach, we all headed to the mountains for their beautiful wedding at Sugarbush in Vermont. The weather was amazing and Danielle and Mike did a great job of planning an elegant, but laid back wedding for all their guests. There was no shortage of s’mores by the campfire, and my favorite part of the night may have been when the sparklers came out. Congratulations, Danielle and Mike! Thanks so much for including me.

Lindsey and Mike were married at The International in Bolton. Wedding days can go by fast, but both Lindsey and Mike did a great job of staying in the moment to fully appreciate the friends and family around them. They treated their guests to hand-rolled cigars and a great party full of great food and dancing. It was a beautiful day and really fun night. Congratulations, Lindsey and Mike!

I knew after Karen and Ian’s engagement session that their wedding was going to be a lot of fun. And it’s not just because they know past CJP couples Sandra and Nick and Juliana and Patrick. Karen and Ian are two of the kindest people I’ve ever had the pleasure of meeting. I’ve only known them for a little while, but through speeches and conversations I learned how important they are to their friends and family and how good they are for each other. Congratulations, Ian and Karen!

Ok, look. It was hot that day. There’s no way around it. But, Liz and Dave’s Willowdale Estate wedding was still incredibly beautiful and a lot of fun. I witnessed some of the most moving and creative vows I’ve ever heard and had a great time documenting the dance floor acrobatics (There was no shortage of jump kicks). I had such a good time hanging out with Liz and Dave and all their friends and family. It was also a pleasure to finally work with Linnea! Congratulations, Liz and Dave!

Diana and Matt were married at the Loring-Greenough House in Jamaica Plain before everyone headed over to the Milky Way for a really fun reception. The events and details that Matt and Diana planned for their wedding seemed like such natural extensions of themselves. The laid back reception centered around good company, good drinks and good food. I bobbed my head constantly that evening to some of the best reception music I’ve ever heard, and I regularly got lost in the Alfred Hitchcock love scenes playing above the dance floor. I guess what I’m getting at is that I love Diana and Matt’s taste. I was lucky to be a part of this one. Congratulations, Diana and Matt!

Lee and Colin’s wedding at the Newton Marriott was absolutely beautiful. Before the ceremony Lee was literally jumping up and down with excitement, while Colin was holding back his emotions as he practiced his vows downstairs. I’m not quite sure how to describe the reception. The pictures will hopefully allude to the energy in the room that night. All I know is that Lee and Colin are both deeply loved by each other and all the people around them. Congratulations, Lee and Colin!
